Systems we service

We service far more than wall-mounted heat pumps. We specialise in:

  • Ducted systems, including zone control such as AirTouch and Mitsubishi ZoneIQ

  • VRF systems

  • High wall heat pumps

  • Floor consoles

  • Ceiling cassettes

  • Multi-room systems, with several indoor units on one outdoor unit

  • Fresh air and heat recovery ventilation, such as Lossnay

Why service your air conditioning?

  • Lower running costs. A clean system uses less power to heat and cool your home.

  • Longer life. Catches wear before it becomes a breakdown.

  • Cleaner, healthier air. Removes dust, bacteria and mould build-up.

  • Protects your warranty. Many manufacturers expect regular servicing.

Our service options

Comprehensive Service (most popular)

A full once-over and health check of your whole system, inside and out. Best if your system hasn't been serviced in over a year or isn't performing like it used to.

  • High wall, floor console and cassette units: clean the return air filters, wipe down the unit covers, clean the coil, test the off-coil temperature, test drains and pumps where fitted, full function test, outdoor unit inspection, and a written service report.

  • Ducted and VRF systems: filter clean, function test, off-coil temperature test, inspection of accessible ductwork, outdoor unit inspection, and a written service report. Zone control, such as AirTouch and ZoneIQ, checked and tested.

  • Fresh air and heat recovery ventilation: filter clean, fan and function check, and a written service report.

Filter Maintenance

Some filters get dirty faster than others, depending on the home. If that sounds like yours, filter maintenance is a cheaper option you can book more often: a quick filter clean, a test run and function check, and a look over the outdoor unit. How often depends on your home, but for many it's around every 6 months. Available for high wall, floor console, cassette and ducted units, and Lossnay and fresh air ventilation systems.

Deep Clean & Mould Treatment

Mould can build up inside an indoor unit without you noticing. It grows on the coil and in the fan barrel and gets blown straight back into the room you are breathing in. Some homes are more prone to it because of humidity and the environment. A musty smell when the unit starts up is a common sign.

Check yours: shine your phone torch up into the fan barrel (the round fan behind the bottom vent). If you see black spots or build-up, it's time for a mould treatment.

What we do: strip down the indoor unit, fit a protective cover, then pressure clean the coil, fan barrel and drain tray. We treat the mould, flush the drain, clean the casing and louvres, and finish with a full performance check and a service report.

Older units are checked for suitability first, as some plastic parts can become brittle with age.

How often should I service?

Every home is different. How often your system needs servicing depends on its environment and how much it's used, so timings vary.

For systems still under warranty, we recommend a Comprehensive Service every year. It's a chance to go through the whole system and pick up any potential issues while it's still covered by the warranty.

Clean your filters between services

We encourage our clients to clean their own filters between services. It only takes a few minutes, keeps your system running efficiently, and dirty filters are the most common reason a system stops performing like it used to.

Cleaning your filters (heat pumps):

  1. Turn the unit off.

  2. Lift the front panel and slide out the filters.

  3. Vacuum off the dust, or rinse them in lukewarm water if they're very dirty.

  4. Let them dry completely in the shade.

  5. Slide them back in and close the panel.

Ducted systems: ducted filters can be in all different places depending on the installation type. If you're unsure how to do yours, we're more than happy to show you at your next service.

Something not working?

If your system isn't heating or cooling, is leaking or is showing an error code, you need a repair rather than a service. Repairs and breakdowns
